Golden Milk/Turmeric Tea
This lovely golden milk recipe is anti-inflammatory and full of healing nutrients. Enjoy anytime and especially when needing some inflammation support, it's very soothing before bed. This is a delicious, soothing tea that has anti-inflammatory properties.
Ingredients
- 1 can full fat coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric fresh grated or 1/2 tsp dried
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon Ceylon is best for blood sugar
- 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup to taste
- 1 pinch black pepper increases absorption
- 1 tiny piece fresh, peeled ginger root or 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper optional
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
- Pour into a small sauce pan and heat for 3-5 minutes over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Drink immediately!
